Expression and functionality of ion channels (voltage-gated sodium channels and ATP-gated P2X receptors) in epithelial cancer cells (mainly breast cancer cells). Involvement of these ion channels in oncogenic properties such as cancer cell migration or invasiveness.
Regulation of these ion channels by poly-unsaturated fatty acids.
