Sophie Richard
This linguist is all ears! Sophie Richard is a lecturer in English Linguistics, and a member of the Loire Linguistics Laboratory (LLL), a joint research unit (UMR 7270). She is the Erasmus+ coordinator for mobilities to the UK, Ireland and Italy. She has a BA in English Studies and an MA in English Linguistics from the Sorbonne Nouvelle University - Paris 3, and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Western Australia. She taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at the University of French Polynesia and Linguistics at the University of Western Australia before joining the English Department at the University of Tours in September 2020. Her research is in sociolinguistics and language variation and change.Coordonnées
