The NEOLAiA alliance of European universities launched its collaborative platform, the NEOLAiA Open Research Hub, in January 2025. This initiative stems from a shared vision among the nine member universities of the alliance and aims to facilitate scientific collaboration and map the alliance’s research fields.
Designed and developed by the University of Salerno partners and co-funded by the European Union, this platform is accessible to anyone involved in research activities within NEOLAiA. The long-term objective of the NEOLAiA Open Research Hub is to offer a rich and interactive database that consolidates the research domains of the scholars and researchers across the partner universities.
Equipped with a keyword and scientific domain search system, the Open Research Hub allows users to identify colleagues with similar interests. This feature acts as a springboard to foster interdisciplinary collaborations, broaden research horizons, and strengthen synergies within the NEOLAiA community.
Beyond networking, the NEOLAiA Open Research Hub serves as a strategic tool to map the alliance's research areas. By showcasing the breadth and diversity of scientific work conducted across the nine universities, the platform helps create unprecedented collaboration opportunities and enhances the alliance's visibility on the global stage. Its success depends on the active participation of NEOLAiA's research community, who are encouraged to complete their profiles.
By connecting talent, ideas, and resources, the NEOLAiA Open Research Hub reflects the alliance's commitment to scientific excellence and international collaboration.
