On 5 and 6 March, the communications representatives of the nine partner universities of the NEOLAiA alliance met in Siauliai, Lithuania. This meeting marks an important stage in the structuring and evolution of communication within NEOLAiA, with the aim of improving communication around the alliance's actions and optimising its visibility within member universities.

Through collective discussions and reflections, the participants explored several strategic areas essential to optimising their collaboration and maximising the impact of NEOLAiA.

Sharing experiences and emergence of new ideas

The first part of the meeting allowed each representative to present the communication initiatives implemented within their organisation. This sharing of experiences encouraged the exchange of good practices and stimulated the emergence of new ideas. This diversity of approaches enriched the collective reflection and helped identify effective methods adapted to the different institutional contexts of the alliance members.

Refining the communication strategy and refocusing the mission of NEOLAiA

One of the major issues addressed during these two days was the adjustment of the overall communication strategy in order to better serve the primary mission of NEOLAiA: to promote student and academic staff mobility. The discussions highlighted the need for more targeted and effective communication to promote the opportunities offered by the alliance.

Improving the flow of information and optimising digital content

Finally, the last working session focused on three key aspects: improving the flow of information from the various packages, restructuring the website and optimising content for social networks. The objective is to ensure a better dissemination of news and opportunities offered by NEOLAiA to university communities. The participants worked on developing a more dynamic engagement strategy aimed at increasing interaction with the target audiences and strengthening the impact of the communication campaigns.
